MURIEL'S WEDDING 25TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION WITH TONI COLLETTE - MARCH 21
The Centerpiece event will be the 25th Anniversary Celebration of Muriel's Wedding with a screening of a remastered version of the landmark Australian film by the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia. There will be Q&A with Toni Collette and Dan Wyllie (who played Muriel's brother).

CLOSING NIGHT FILM - TOP END WEDDING - MARCH 22
The Closing Night film will be the New York premiere of the indigenous romcom, Top End Wedding, which premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. There will be a Q&A with director Wayne Blair and lead actress and co-writer Miranda Tapsell.

KEYNOTES AND DISCUSSIONS
There will be high profile keynotes and discussions with American producer Jason Blum, film editor Jill Bilcock in conversation with Baz Luhrmann, and Australian television writer and producer Shane Brennan who is best known as the executive producer of the CBS television series NCIS and its spin off series NCIS; Los Angeles. HBO and NBCUniversal will present panel discussions.

This annual event sees Australia’s emerging and established creative talent and New York based film and television industry participate in workshops, panel conversations and showcases. Thirteen creatives from Australia will be flown to New York by Screen Australia as its Talent USA delegation to the Screen Forum.
This year’s topics include sessions related to Financing, Audience Development, Casting and Creative Relationships and Festivals & Markets, with a specific focus on international independent feature film and television production, devised in conjunction with Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin.
HBO will host a case study with the. filmmakers of United Skates, the Tribeca award-winning documentary.
Anthony Maras's upcoming feature film Hotel Mumbai will be the subject of a case study in international co-productions and marketing.
PITCHING CONTEST - PITCH YOUR IDEA
There will be pitching contest for filmmakers to pitch their ideas to a panel of high profile judges, with the final round judges being Baz Luhrmann, Catherine Martin, Shane Brennan and Jason Blum, industry leaders behind some of the biggest hits. Participants must be registered for an Industry Pass.
