OUR MISSION
Promotion of the Australian Screen Arts
Our mission is to promote the screen arts, which we do through AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL SCREEN FORUM IN NEW YORK CITY by exhibiting Australian films and connecting Australian film, television and digital screen producers and screen talent to U.S. film, television and digital producers and distributors in order to achieve broader exhibition of their screen works.
We also promote the screen arts through AUSTRALIAN SHORT FILM TODAY, our global traveling roadshow of the Australians short films, to showcase the talent of Australian filmmakers and broaden their exposure internationally.
Educational Programs and Scholarships
It is also our mission to provide educational programs including career development programs for new and emerging screen artists. We do this through case studies, master classes and conversations, sessions on financing, casting and pitching, and networking opportunities and mentoring with established practitioners of the screen arts. We have also established a scholarship program for emerging directors.
